I am Andy Ballot, an artist who seeks to convey my deep appreciation for the beautiful world around us, and share that Love and inspiration with others through my art. 

From my earliest childhood memories I have been driven to create, trying to capture some small part of the boundless creativity that floods my mind and spirit. My evolution as an artist has therefor been a life-long journey, with years of struggling to fit my passion into a busy life. 

The pandemic presented a unique opportunity for me to return to my zeal for artistic expression. In 2021, I joined a Saturday morning plein air class, which significantly enriched my artistic development, allowing me time to hone my technical acumen. Transitioning from a casual to professional required essential study of composition, light, and color to produce a resonant piece. This is a never ending process of observation, interpretation, selection, and the challenging culmination of expression through physical manifestation of the inner eye.

Through my art, I strive to elicit feelings of wonder and connection in those who experience it. I hold a firm belief that every individual possesses an artistic spirit; they simply need to discover the medium that resonates with them.
